Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EZDrop, a Shopify app and web service operated by Extensions Market (extensionsmarket.com). By installing EZDrop or using any EZDrop-powered page, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

EZDrop is a product drop and viral waitlist platform for Shopify merchants. It enables merchants to create product drops, collect shopper waitlist signups, run referral-based queue mechanics, and send launch notification emails. EZDrop is a product of Extensions Market, which also operates EZStock, EZBundle, PopBoost, Sleepmaxing, HomePilot, AirPrice, STRInvest, JobPilot, and CarWise.

2. Merchant Accounts

To use EZDrop you must have a valid Shopify store and install the app through the Shopify App Store or a direct install link. You are responsible for:

• All drops you create and activate
• Emails sent to your customers through EZDrop, including their accuracy and compliance with applicable law (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, etc.)
• Ensuring your waitlists and drop terms are honest and that you fulfil any commitments made to shoppers who join
• Maintaining the security of your Shopify admin account
• Providing your own shoppers with adequate privacy notice regarding waitlist data collection

3. Shopper Use

Shoppers who join a waitlist through an EZDrop-powered page are subject to the merchant's own terms for that product drop. Extensions Market operates the technical infrastructure but is not party to any transaction between merchants and their customers. All purchases happen through the merchant's normal Shopify checkout — EZDrop does not process payments or hold deposits.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use EZDrop to:

• Collect email addresses for purposes other than the stated product drop
• Send spam, unsolicited commercial emails, or misleading communications
• Create drops for illegal, counterfeit, or prohibited products
• Abuse the referral system artificially (e.g., self-referrals via bots)
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our infrastructure
• Violate Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy or Partner Program Agreement

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation without notice.

5. Billing, Plans & Refunds

EZDrop offers the following plans billed through Shopify's billing system:

• Free — $0/month. 1 active drop, 500 entries per drop. No trial needed.
• Growth — $19/month. 7-day free trial. 5 concurrent drops, 5,000 entries per drop, CSV export, custom sender name.
• Pro — $49/month. 7-day free trial. Unlimited drops and entries, custom from-email, priority support, analytics.

All billing is handled directly by Shopify — Extensions Market does not store or process payment card data. Subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time from your Shopify admin; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: Paid plan fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has been charged. However, we offer refunds in the following circumstances:

• You were charged after cancelling and did not use the service during that period — contact us within 7 days
• A material bug or service outage prevented you from using EZDrop during a paid period — assessed case by case
• Applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires a refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with your shop domain and the reason. We respond within 3 business days.

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of EZDrop is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We handle merchant and shopper data as described therein.

7. Data Processing Agreement

For the purposes of GDPR and equivalent data protection laws:

• You (the merchant) are the data controller with respect to your shoppers' personal data collected through EZDrop waitlists.
• Extensions Market is the data processor, processing that data solely to provide the EZDrop service under your instruction.

By accepting these Terms, you enter into a data processing arrangement with Extensions Market under which we commit to: (a) process shopper data only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy and your drop configuration; (b) implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures; (c) assist you in responding to data subject requests; (d) delete all data upon uninstallation or written request; and (e) notify you of any personal data breach without undue delay.

Merchants who require a separate, signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA) document for their own compliance records may request one by emailing [email protected].

8. Intellectual Property

EZDrop, its logo, and all associated software are the property of Extensions Market. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of EZDrop's code or design without written permission.

9. Uptime & Support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime SLA on free or paid plans. We provide support on a best-effort basis via [email protected]. Extensions Market is not liable for losses caused by service interruptions, email delivery failures, or data loss.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

EZDrop is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of EZDrop is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Extensions Market's total liability for any claim arising from your use of EZDrop shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify merchants via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of EZDrop after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Extensions Market operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of that jurisdiction.
